Retired 32nd JDC Judge Paul R. Wimbish, 73, died Friday, April 8, 2011. After attending USL (now the University of Louisiana-Lafayette) and Tulane University, he earned his JD from LSU Law School in 1966 and was Chairman of his law school Moot Court Board. After law school he practiced law in Houma for 14 years before taking his oath in 1980 at the 32nd JDC. He served on the bench until his retirement in 2002.
