Retired Orleans Municipal Court Judge Andrew G. Bucaro, 80, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003 in New Orleans. He earned his undergraduate degree from Tulane University and his juris doctor degree from Tulane Law School. He served as a Lieutenant (j.g.) in the Navy during World War II. He was appointed to the Municipal Court bench in 1955 where he served until his retirement in 1977. He was elected and re-elected to that seat, facing no opposition for any of his reelection campaigns.
