Retired 3rd JDC Judge James M. Dozier, Jr., 78, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010. He earned his B.A. degree from Louisiana Tech University in 1953 and his JD from LSU Law School in 1956, where he was a member of LSU Law Review and the Order of the Coif. He took his first judicial oath of office in 1980 as judge on the 3rd JDC and served until his retirement in 1996.
