Alexandria City Court Judge Edward E. Roberts, Jr. died Tuesday, November 27, 2001 in Alexandria, La. He earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 1960 and his Juris Doctor degree from LSU School of Law in 1967. He was an Assistant Professor of Business Law at LSU from 1968-1970. He served as City Court judge from 1985 until his death. He was a Louisiana Legislative Counsel and the director of Cenla Legal Aid. He also served as a Rapides Parish assistant district attorney from 1973-1985.
