The Louisiana
Protective Order Registry (LPOR) is a project of the Judicial
Administrator's Office of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
This computerized database was established by state legislation
in 1997 and serves as a statewide repository for temporary
restraining orders, protective order, preliminary and permanent
injunctions, court approved consent agreements, peace bonds,
bail restrictions, sentencing orders, and probation conditions
issued for the purpose of preventing harassment, threats,
or violence against an intimate partner or family member.
To learn
more about the registry, visit the Overview
page.
If you
are a professional working with the protective order process
(law enforcement, court personnel, victim/survivor assistant
or advocate, attorney) visit our Pro
User page to learn about training opportunities,
access to the Registry information, and how to get and use
