96-C - 1575 MILTON C. LUGENBUHL, ET AL VS. DR. JAMES DOWLING, ET AL C/W WENONAH LUGENBUHL, WIFE OF/AND MILTON C. LUGENBUHL, JR., ET AL VS. JAMES B. DOWLING, M.D., ET AL (Parish of Orleans)

For the foregoing reasons, the judgment of the lower courts is amended to reduce the amount of damages to $5,000.

97-B - 0835 IN RE: SAMUEL A. SHEALY

DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS

Accordingly, it is ordered that respondent, Samuel A. Shealy, be suspended from the practice of law for a period of twelve months, with all but six months of the suspension deferred. Following completion of the active portion of the suspension, respondent shall be placed on two years supervised probation subject to conditions.

DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS

Accordingly, it is ordered that respondent, Samuel H. Thomas, be suspended from the practice of law for a period of fifteen months, with all but nine months of the suspension deferred. Following completion of the active portion of the suspension, respondent shall be placed on two years supervised probation subject to conditions.
