THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND DEVELOPMENT (Parish
of Iberia)
For the reasons
assigned, the judgment of the court of appeal is reversed.
The judgment of the trial court finding no liability
on the part of the State of Louisiana, through the
Department of Transportation and Development and dismissing
plaintiff's suit is reinstated. All costs in this
matter are assessed against plaintiff.

For the reasons
assigned, the judgment of the court of appeal is reversed.
Judgment is entered in favor of defendant, Olsten
Industrial Services, dismissing the claim of Rudolph
A. Martin against it at claimant's cost.

- 0760 IN RE: JAMES A. DUNN, JR.
Upon review
of the findings and recommendations of the hearing
committee and disciplinary board, and considering
the record, oral argument and briefs, it is the decision
of this court that respondent, James A. Dunn, Jr.,
be suspended from the practice of law for a period
of one year, with all but six months of this suspension
deferred. Following the completion of the active portion
of this suspension, respondent shall be placed on
supervised probation for a period of two years, subject
to those conditions recommended by the disciplinary
board, except that the first condition is modified
to provide that respondent shall present proof to
the Office of Disciplinary Counsel that he has made
restitution or good faith efforts at restitution.
All costs of this matter are assessed against respondent.

- 0774 IN RE: GILMER P. HINGLE
Upon review
of the findings and recommendation of the hearing
committee and disciplinary board, the briefs and oral
arguments of the parties and the record filed herein,
it is the decision of the court that the recommendation
of the disciplinary board be adopted. Accordingly,
it is ordered that the name of Gilmer P. Hingle be
stricken from the roll of attorneys and that his license
to practice in the State of Louisiana be revoked.
It is further ordered that the respondent make full
restitution, plus legal interest, to his former clients.
Costs of these proceedings, in the amount of $305.80,
are assessed against respondent.
