1998-CC- 1602 MICHELLE O'REGAN AND RYAN O'REGAN v. PREFERRED ENTERPRISES, INC. D/B/A NUMBER ONE CLEANERS, ET AL (Parish of Jefferson)

ON REHEARING

For the foregoing reasons, the judgments of the lower courts are affirmed. This case is remanded to the trial court for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.

PER CURIAM :

1999-KO- 1124 C/W 1999-KO- 1327 STATE OF LOUISIANA v. RAYMOND LAUGAND (Parish of Orleans) (Second Degree Murder)

Accordingly, we reverse the decision of the court of appeal, set aside relator's conviction and sentence, and remand this case to the district court for all further proceedings in accord with the law.

1999-K- 1484 STATE OF LOUISIANA v. RONALD BRANCH (Parish of Orleans) (Simple Arson)

Accordingly, the judgment of the court of appeal is reversed. The verdict renderd by the trial court is reinstated, and this case is remanded to the district court for purposes of clarifying the respondent's present status and for all further proceedings not inconsistent with the views expressed herein.

JUDGMENT OF THE COURT OF APPEAL REVERSED; VERDICT REINSTATED;

CASE REMANDED.
