0761 SUCCESSION OF JOSEPH PAGE BOYTER (Parish of
Caddo)
The court of
appeal erred in not applying La. R.S. 9:2501 (1996)
to Mr. Boyter's succession and its judgment is therefore
reversed. We find the testament is governed by the law
in effect on December 31, 1995. The case is remanded
to the trial court for further proceedings consistent
with this opinion.
REVERSED AND
REMANDED.
