The Per Curiams handed down on the 22nd day of October, 2010, are as follows:

PER CURIAM:

2009-KP-1404 STATE OF LOUISIANA v. LARRY N. LEWIS, JR. (Parish of Jefferson)

Retired Judge Philip C. Ciaccio, assigned as Justice ad hoc, sitting for Chief Justice Catherine D. Kimball.

Accordingly, the decision of the court of appeal is affirmed to the extent that it upholds defendant's conviction for manslaughter but reversed insofar as it vacates the sentence imposed by the trial court. Defendant's sentence of 30 years imprisonment at hard labor is reinstated and this case is remanded to the trial court for execution of sentence.
DECISION OF COURT OF APPEAL AFFIRMED IN PART, REVERSED IN PART; DEFENDANT'S SENTENCE REINSTATED; CASE REMANDED.

Accordingly, the decision of the court of appeal is reversed, defendant's convictions and sentences are reinstated, and this case is remanded to the district court for execution of sentence.

2009-K -2357 STATE OF LOUISIANA v. ALTON LANE STROTHER (Parish of Rapides)

Retired Judge Philip C. Ciaccio, assigned as Justice ad hoc, sitting for Chief Justice Catherine D. Kimball.

Accordingly, defendant's conviction and sentence for attempted cruelty to juveniles are reinstated, as is defendant's sentence on his conviction for cruelty to juveniles as affirmed by the court of appeal. This case is remanded to the district court for purposes of execution of sentence.
