Retired
Judge Robert J. Klees has been assigned, by order of the Louisiana
Supreme Court, as judge pro tempore of the Orleans
Parish Juvenile Court, Section "C", according to Chief Justice
Pascal F. Calogero, Jr.
Klees will serve for
the period of February 13, 2003 through April 13, 2003 or
until further orders of the Court because of the interim disqualification
of Judge Yvonne Hughes. Hughes, by order of the Louisiana
Supreme Court and on recommendation of the Judiciary Commission
of Louisiana, was disqualified on February 12, 2003 from exercising
any judicial function during the pendency of further proceedings.
Klees was elected in
1981 and re-elected in 1990 as judge for the 4 th Circuit
Court of Appeal where, prior to his retirement in 2000, he
served as chief judge.
