Retired
Judge Moon Landrieu has been appointed by order of the Louisiana
Supreme Court as judge pro tempore of the Court
of Appeal, Fourth Circuit, At Large District, according to
Chief Justice Pascal F. Calogero, Jr.
Landrieu fills the
vacancy created by the death of Judge William H. Byrnes, III
on October 21, 2004. He will serve for the period of November
3, 2003 through May 3, 2004, or until the vacancy is filled,
whichever occurs sooner, or until further orders from the
Court.
Landrieu was elected
judge of the Court of Appeal, Fourth Circuit in 1992, where
he served until his retirement in 2000.
