04-20-2026 New Louisiana Supreme Court Judicial Administrator Addresses Judges at 2026 Spring Judges Conference
The Louisiana Supreme Court announced the appointment of Brian Wiggins, MPA, JD, as its new Judicial Administrator. Wiggins succeeds Sandra A. Vujnovich, who served as the Supreme Court’s Judicial Administrator since 2014 and will continue to work in an advisory capacity until her effective retirement date on July 1.

Individuals have received text messages from the “Louisiana Superior Court” claiming the recipient has an “outstanding traffic ticket” and must pay a fee or face repercussions. There is no court known as the “Louisiana Superior Court.” Further, the Louisiana Supreme Court does not send text messages or emails threatening prosecution for traffic or fee violations. The Louisiana Supreme Court today announced the retirement of long-time Judicial Administrator Sandra Vujnovich. The Court’s Chief Deputy Administrator, Brian Wiggins, is succeeding Vujnovich as Judicial Administrator effective April 1. Vujnovich will serve in an advisory role as Judicial Administrator emeritus until July 1.
