The Opinions handed down on the 25th day of January, 2008, are as follows:
BY JOHNSON, J.:
2007-O -1909 IN RE: JUSTICE OF THE PEACE JAMIE FREDERIC-BRAUD
(Judiciary Commission of Louisiana)
For the reasons assigned, it is ordered that Justice of the Peace JamieFrederic-Braud be suspended for fifteen days for violating Canons 1, 2A and 3A(1)of the Code of Judicial Conduct, as well as the constitutional standard articulated in LSA-Const. art. V, Section 25(C). It is further ordered that Justice of the Peace Jamie Frederic-Braud reimburse the Louisiana Judiciary Commission $175.00, which is the amount of costs incurred during the prosecution and investigation of this case.

(First Degree Murder - Two Counts)
For the above reasons, the ruling of the trial court is reversed. This matter is remanded to the trial court for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
