Retired
Judge Gerald P. Fedoroff has been appointed, by order of the
Louisiana Supreme Court, as judge pro tempore to
assist with the docket of Orleans Parish Civil District Court,
Division "M," according to Chief Justice Pascal F. Calogero,
Jr.
Fedoroff will serve
for the period of October 27, 2003 through November 7, 2003,
or until further orders of the Court.
Prior to his retirement
in 2001, Fedoroff served as judge for Orleans Parish Civil
District for nearly 31 years. He took his first oath of office
in 1970 as judge for Division "E," and was subsequently re-elected
to the office in 1972, 1978, 1984, 1990 and 1996.
