PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF LOUISIANA SUPREME COURT RULE XXX, RULE 3, MANDATORY CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION CREDITS FOR JUDGES
The Louisiana Supreme Court is considering amending Supreme Court Rule XXX, Rule 3 to mandate that Louisiana State Court Judges earn a minimum of 5 of the required 12.5 mandatory continuing legal education credits from programs sponsored by the Louisiana Judicial College. Before further consideration of the adoption of proposed Rule XXX, Rule 3(f), the Supreme Court is interested in hearing comments from judges, members of the Bar and the public.
