Associate Justice, Louisiana Supreme Court, December 3, 1872 to February 1, 1873

 

Born in Maryland, 1836 • Double appointed following La. Supreme Court Associate Justice William W. Howe’s resignation and brought suit ending at the U.S. Supreme Court where he lost to La. Supreme Court Associate Justice Philip H. Morgan • Served in the Confederate Army in Fenner’s Battery and the Louisiana Artillery • Died in New Orleans, May 2, 1887, and is interred at Metairie Cemetery • Portrait Artist Unknown
